Description:
Paddling is ideal for beginning paddlers in the protected waters of the bay through a maze of canals past many beautiful and grand homes and yachts. Paddle craft is not allowed south of the bridge on Pacific Coast Highway, which is the exit from the harbor to the ocean. As a result, all paddlers are confined inside the harbor. Kayak fishing is always popular in the harbor.

Directions:
Take the San Diego Freeway, I-405, or the Garden Grove Freeway, CA-22, to Bolsa Chica Road/Valley View Street off ramp. Drive south on Bolsa Chica Road approximately 3 miles to Edinger Avenue (the traffic signal at the south end of the U. S. Naval Weapons Station). Turn right and travel west on Edinger 1.6 miles then turn left, just after the flashing yellow light and just before a bridge, onto Countess Drive. Seabridge Park will be a short distance ahead on the left, where parking is free but limited.

Carry your kayaks across the grass to launch from sand east of the park into a canal.

Facilities:
Restrooms. Nearby restaurants and shops.
