Description:
Paddling is ideal for beginning paddlers in the protected waters through the lower bay's maze of canals past many beautiful and spectacular homes and yachts. The jetty, south of the launch, provides access to the ocean for the more experienced paddler. Parking in the Coast Guard parking lot is limited and restricted until 4 PM. Launching from the beach is not allowed 10:00 AM to 4 PM weekends 4/15 thru 9/30 and 10:00 AM to 4 PM weekdays 6/1 thru 9/15.

Directions:
Take the Corona Del Mar Freeway, CA-73, south to Jamboree south (just before the 73 toll plaza). Take jamboree 3.4 miles south, past Coast Highway to Bayshore Drive. Turn left and travel southeast 0.6 mile to the Coast Guard Parking lot.
