Len's tenure as CKF President lasted more than 10 years, during which time he nurtured the club, and began events like the annual CKF Festival. But more than that he was a kind person who befriended new members, encouraged training and skill development, and lit up an after-paddle lunch with his warm sense of humor. Len passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2007. He will be sorely missed. More about Len at the University of Sea Kayaking web site |
