CKF Email List
The CKF email list is open to everyone.....whether a CKF member or not. Any topic of interest related to kayaking is appropriate subject matter. The list is often used to announce paddles, to report and to discuss recent paddles, and finally, to ask questions.

Conditions of Use
It is important that you keep your messages related to kayaking, and keep the tone friendly. We also ask you to refrain from discussing politics, religion and making sexual innuendos. Further, you must avoid posting messages that are too personal or of an "attack nature" towards another person. Discussions are encouraged and differences of opinion are a certainty, but please keep in mind that we are all paddlers with a love for the sport - be civil, you can get your point across without personal attacks. Anyone who ignores these simple rules will be warned and if the behavior persists will be removed from the email list.

We welcome comments from professionals as outfitters, guides, shop owners and boat builders, but please, no product advertising. If you wish to advertise your product you may contact our Ad Manager or CKF President.

Don't configure your mail to reject mail from list members, it causes the mail to get bounced. If you don't want mail from list members, unsubscribe from the list. If you keep rejecting mail from list members, you will be unsubscribed from the list due to excessive mail failures.

Once you've subscribed you can post messages to the list by sending your emails to the following address: info@list.ckf.org

Please note that when you respond to a message from the list, if you select "reply to all" your message goes to the entire list. Please only use this for messages that are of interest to everyone. Use "reply" to just reply to the poster. The email list is plain text only, so all attachments and text formatting (e.g. bold, italics) will not be transmitted.

The information and opinions expressed on this website or via the CKF email list is largely that of amateur kayakers, and may not be accurate or appropriate, and the authors do not speak for CKF.

The CKF Email List is open to both members and non-members in order to seek out the widest range of opinions from the kayaking community. Of course, we welcome anyone wishing to join CKF and direct you to our membership application on our website. Come paddle with us.
