Marine Land
A good start 8:45 the gate Is open this week (yes) Pulling up I see Kinga waiting at the entrance, she made It (her first time at Marine Land) Thank you Steve Brown for your web-sites directions and maps!

Pass the gate and at the bottom, we meet up with Jack having a little morning java, soon after Hugh shows up. Ironically an outfitter / guide company (that has been running SOT's out of there for seven years) Is unloading for the days run. I take this opportunity to ask him his definition (opinion) on SOT's, he laughed (he knew about CKF and the e-mails posted) and replied "They're a pleasure craft", that has been widely marketed by the word kayak that's why they stack so nicely and would have It no other way, by the clientele that he guides. For SOT's allows all people's to experience and enjoy the beauty of are wonderful California coast line. The final words were to just get out the re and paddle, be careful and most of all have fun!...Sounds like words of wisdom to me.

So, we all suited up and hiked down to do some rock-gardening and a little surfing. White water kayaks was the venue this day. We stayed out for about 4 1/2 to 5 hours playing with and in nature's water park.

I'm not going to get into wind or water speed, or how many miles we paddled, or even the names of the coves, caves or beaches we landed on, launched from, surfed at, or paddled to; because, I do not know that information. What I do know is that we all had fun, period!....Check out the pics.

PS:Attention SOT-ers. Check out Baja Mexico Gallery on my web- site. There are some fun SOT shots.

IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE: Due to the assurance of my personal safety and the safety of others and the inherent lethal nature of the Fig Newton, Mr. Jack Brisley has been banned from possessing Fig Newton's and has been reduced and limited to only Ritz Crackers. Effective immediately.

Until next time, Victor (Paparazzi) Martin
