Easter Paddle to Gina
This isn't the official trip report -- I'm counting on Steve Holtzman to do his usual excellent job with that, mostly because I'm not going to remember everyone's name. But a group of us met on Easter morning at Channel Islands Harbor for a calm and relaxed paddle out to oil platform Gina.

The water was mirror-smooth, without any swell even. The only disappointments for me were no dolphins or whales to see and the fact that I was too lazy to practice any rolls. Paul, on the other hand (sorry I don't know your last name!) was a rolling maniac, even doing a perfect offside roll on his first attempt. We basked in the sun out at Gina for a while and then paddled back.

Uneventful, no carnage, no wildlife -- just a nice relaxed paddle under sunny skies. Photos can be seen at the following website (plz let me know if you have any trouble accessing the site):
